i thank You God for most this amazing day

This is one of my favorite poems. It relates to my last post, so I thought I'd share it with you. It's by e.e. cummings, and yes, the punctuation and capitalization is supposed to be like that.

i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky;and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes

(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun's birthday;this is the birth
day of life and of love and wings:and of the gay
great happening illimitably earth)

how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any - lifted from the no
of all nothing - human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?

(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)

Sorry, I could not resist being an English geek just because I am in another hemisphere at the moment. ;)

haha. I can't believe I did that. From now on, Rochelle, I'm sending you all my blogs to proofread, just like you used to proofread my English 110 papers! :)

Don't you just love it when you write out some big, important and exciting post and then all peopel can say about it is how you made some trivial mistake in it somewhere. I know I do. =) (I'm kiddin Poach, relax eh.

Let's all revolt against the capital.

that was the irony in it. a)i never capitalize my posts. b)i couldn't care less about punctuation. b)the post was insightful and interesting. c)my comment was trivial. d)i bet you didn't notice there are two "b's" in this list.

well, i have to say that this makes me excited about science. i had a love/hate relationship with my anatomy classes in first and second year, i loved learning about what God created in me, and how it is entirely undeniable that we are created beings, and i hated the fact that i never could seem to remember that much when exams rolled around.
i also have to say that i have been reading this blog and i am uncertain as to which beth this is and i hope so much that it is beth malena.
i find myself thinking about you malena's a lot, because i think of how roslyn was friends with daniel, and i was friends with beth and sarah, and i didn't really know rachel, but also i loved mama and papa malena so much.
anyhow, i am sorry if this is not that beth...
